I am sending your web page address out to several of the people who attended the party and couldn't rave enough about how delicious everything was. Most asked where you are located. Harland Clarke Yesterday you catered an event for Harland Clarke (Steve Reynolds I.T. group) and I just wanted to say the food was AWESOME! I was the guy who was talking to Jimmy about him entering the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que cookoff. I really think your food was very good. The Brisket has a real good chance to be in the top ten in my opinion. I have judged the past four years at the cookoff and I would rate the brisket a perfect score of 10. The brisket was looked good, had a great aroma, the meat was very tender, and it tasted Awesome! You should definitely enter into the cookoff because you have a real good chance with your barbecue. I was on your website and noticed the different kinds of beans. What was the beans that you served at the picnic yesterday for us? The beans that were served at the picnic were very good. I am on the companies employee event team and will recommend Jimmy Lyn's barbecue for future company events. We usually order our barbecue from Rudy's, but would love the opportunity to order from you all the next big event. I heard nothing but good comments about your food yesterday. Great Job!

Harland Clarke In all my years with Clarke American / Harland Clarke today was the best gathering I really enjoyed with everyone. And the food was absolutely out of this world. I gave my compliments to Jimmy and his family for their great service & food. I felt so great coming back to work and talking about the fun we had today. Overall I believe we should use Jimmy again for other company events. The best in the city as far as I'm concern.

Other Customer Comments Liked the brisket, very tender. Liked the sausage, not too spicy and good flavor. Liked the beans, tasty! Liked the potato salad and the pickles. Like the people, friendly good attitude. Liked the cake and ice cream. Moderately liked the drinks, no diet sodas but tea was OK. Overall - high marks, higher than Rudy's and Bill Miller's.

The catering was fantastic. ALL of the food was very good. For me the portions were about right, I did go back for seconds of those delicious beans. I normally do not like sausage and the sausage they served had a fun Texas kick and was really good. I would definitely use them again. Everything was GREAT!

I thought the food was delicious. Portions were generous and I believe I could have asked for them to load me up if I had wanted more. I had the brisket, sausage, beans and potato salad - all were good. Brisket and sausage were excellent. The chicken looked good but that was a step too far for me, I already had enough. So, I thought our menu choices were more than adequate. I did not try the cake, but it looked good. I would have these guys back again!

Best Barbeque I've ever had. Please have them again. Menu was good. The portions were good. Danny, John and I went for 2nds and they still had enough for me to take a good size serving for Carlos.

I thought the chicken, jalepeno sausage, and the brisket were tender and flavorful. Good beans and potato salad. I would rate them high.

All of us at our table commented on the quality of the food - it was really good. Great selection, cooked well, tasted good, good size portions.

I personally just loved it! It was a neat twist on the beans and sausage (with the jalapeno).

Wow! Your BBQ made Christmas Eve the best ever! The worship was wonderful and then to go back stage and have such a feast!!! I know the price you gave us was way under what it should have been. Thank you sooo much for being so generous! I have never heard such positive feedback about anything we've served here like your cooking. Thanks again!

I just wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for the fantastic Thanksgiving Turkey. It was a God-Send to come out of the Hospital and not have to cook for all our company. I am looking forward to getting to know you all this year!!
